Monday: set up and begin sewing pin cushions.

Tuesday (block): Read project sheet; discuss/determine how your work will be evaluated; ask one another about your designs: what could this object symbolize? where is there a 'wow' factor? what kind of detail could be surprising? what size do you think you need to make this subject? 

continue stitching lessons...make pincushion (straight stitch, hidden stitch, blanket stitch, turning, finishing); Continue designing patterns with newsprint (review curves/cones/proportions)

review tying a knot! continue stitching time if needed; pattern trouble shooting and tips; possibly begin cutting fabric; work time on Soft Sculptures!

Thursday: studio time on soft sculpture! 

Friday: no school!
