DIRECTIONS FOR OCTOBER 2
Hi folks,
I'm sorry I can't be with you today but Mrs. Nyhof knows biology so she will definitely be able to help you if you have questions! Have a great day and a great weekend!
FOR TODAY:
- Finish the Virus Life Cycle document through Conclusions and Connections #3. Mrs. Nyhof should be able to help clarify most things you might have questions about. She knows biology! Hand your comic in to her even if you have questions and we will be sure to solve final questions next week BEFORE a grade goes in.
- Thoughtfully review your Immune System notes from Wed/Thur (non specific and specific immune response). Write down any questions you still have so you are ready to ask Mrs. O'Brien on Monday/Tuesday. (Watch the Immune System video if you were absent or need some review.)
- Watch the video. Be sure it makes sense in terms of your Immune System notes and our discussion on Wednesday/Thursday. If you have questions, write them down so you are ready to ask!
- Read through Slides 1-12 of the Virus 5 Characteristics notes. We will talk about the DNA/RNA part and clarify the lysogenic cycle on Monday/Tuesday, but the rest should make sense if you at this point. Write down any questions you have!
- Look over the Standards 2.1-2.4 and write down any questions you have so you can ask on Monday/Tuesday. Quiz on 2.1-2.4 on Wednesday/Thursday
- Study for your Standards 2.1-2.4 quiz or start watching Bacteria Part 1.
Be through at least step 5 by Monday/Tuesday. Step 6 will save you homework time next week, but is NOT homework for this weekend.
