DIRECTIONS FOR DECEMBER 16 AND 17

  1. With your group, finish getting your plant project presentation completely ready.
    1. Take any final data.  Rulers are in the back of the room.  Please return them when finished.

    2. KEEP YOUR PLANTS (water if needed) AND ANY ADDITIONAL SET UP (boxes, etc.).  Many of you will use them for fantastic visuals when you present!

    3. Fill in your data table and create your graph.  Use this video if you need help.

    4. Write your conclusion.  Follow the project guidelines (gradesheet at the end of the guidelines)! Be sure you have linked any resource URLs used.  Remember:  VISUAL...no paragraphs on slides.  You may use notes.  Note cards on front table.

      1. BE SURE IT INCLUDES THE BIOLOGICAL "WHY". For example, is it an osmosis issue?  Is it a light reflection issue?  What is actually biologically happening!

      2. BE SURE YOU SHOW THE BIOLOGICAL "WHY" with diagrams/pictures, etc.

    5. Be sure you included a "why we care"...why is this information important for people to know?

    6. Double check the grade sheet (scroll to the end of the doc) to be sure everything is COMPLETELY finished.

    7. Mrs. O'Brien will assume your presentation is finished and ready to present at the end of your block Mon/Tues.  At that point she will give feedback on data tables, graphs, conclusions.  You will have about 15-20 minutes to ask any last questions for final edits on your conclusion before we present on Wed/Thur.

  2. By yourself do the Simulations document.

  3. If you have extra time, get started working through the Exam Review.
