Everyday Imagination Sketchbook Pages Project

Evaluation Criteria for Sketchbook Pages:

1. Selection of subject! (evidence that you are seeing the everyday with Imagination...not just filling the requirements...we've SEEN all of these things before...how can you let us see them with fresh eyes?)

2. Evidence of careful observation (good use of proportion...or distortions are enhancing the work not detracting from it)

3. Compositional Strength/Arrangement on the page... (vary composition!--i.e. not always the same layout!...use of overlap, space, layer, etc). Try to really FILL each page and make it come alive visually! Check out examples online and linked to moodle for additional ideas for composition and layout!

4. Use of Line + Value + Imaginative use of materials!

5. Inventiveness/Emergence of a personal artistic voice
